The
NTS released “Truths and Myths on Taxes for Teens” on March 4, 2008.
As the name suggests, the book explains to young readers some interesting facts
on taxes and addresses issues that are most commonly misunderstood.


 


Some
of the topics the book explores are:


 


  -   Do
we have to pay taxes on the money our parents give us on New Year’s Day?


  -   What’s
the difference between tax saving and tax evasion?


  -   Do
we have to pay taxes as well?


 


“Truths
and Myths on Taxes for Teens” will be distributed to middle and high schools
nationwide and can also be purchased at the Government Publication Distribution
Center (call 02-734-6818) for 1,000 KRW.
