제목 없음The Third Forum On Tax Administration was held today in Seoul, under the
auspices of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD)
and hosted by the National Tax Service of Korea.
Representatives from 26 OECD member countries and 9 non-memebr countries attended
the opening ceremony of the meeting of the revenue heads of OECD member countries,
making the begining of the two day conference, held between September 14-15,
2006.
First established in 2003, the FTA meeting was held every 15-18 months and
provided the much needed platform for heads of revenues to come together to
discuss common issues in the taxation landscape and seek for solutions.
This year\'s meeting the third of such gatherings since the first 2003 Spain
and second 2005 Ireland meeting, will focus its discussions around the two topics
of: (1) Strengthening cooperation for improved detection and deterrence of international
non-compliance, and; (2) Organizational reform for more effective tax administration.
