The 13th Korea-China Bilateral Commissioners’ Meeting was held in Beijing on May 20, 2008. During the annual meeting, Mr. Sang Ryule Han, Commissioner of National Tax Service of Republic of Korea and Mr. Xiao Jie, Commissioner of State Administration of Taxation of Republic of China discussed how to a business-friendly tax environment, such as, giving support for companies operating in each other’s countries, and introducing the electronic tax invoice. The two heads also shared their views that tax administrations should observe internationally accepted standards in administering their operation.
Before the meeting, Commissioner Han delivered donations for the Chinese earthquake victims, expressing condolence and wishing a quick recovery from the disaster.
