Taxpayer Protection Committee Installed at 90 Tax Offices Nationwide

Starting
from May 1, 2008, the Taxpayer Protection Committee has been up and running
at the 6 Regional Tax Offices and 84 Tax Offices nationwide. The installation
of the Committee is part of the effort of the National Tax Service to better
serve and protect taxpayers. The Committee is mandated to review all the tax
complaints received both online and offline and to approve the extension of
tax audits and the scope of companies subject to tax audit.
