Delegation of Excise Department of Thailand Visits NTS

A
group of 38 tax officials from the Excise Department of Thailand visited the
National Tax Service of Korea on August 8, 2008. The visit was part of Thailand’s
government project to visit overseas government organizations to benchmark advanced
systems. A three-hour session was provided on the overview of Korea’s tax administration
such as organizational structure, e-filing and selective excise tax system.
